Royal Palace

A rather flat shot of the front facade of the Royal Palace of Madrid, the official residence of the King of Spain (They don't actual live there though). No photography was allowed indoors which is a shame as the magnificence is just begging to be photographed. The lighting indoors wasn't great either, I guess to preserve the historic contents of the building.

One of my friends was convinced, there is no way a person will be brought up amongst such opulence, that he will not grown up to be haughty and arrogant. I begged to differ...
